Dean has worked with SWRO membrane system design, fabrication, operation, and troubleshooting for almost 40 years.

Prior to founding Gemini Seawater Systems, Dean was VP at TSG Technologies, a consultant for Dupont Permseap, general manager of Aqua Design (BVI) Limited, and Director of Island Operations for Aqua Design (acquired by Ionics and subsequently by GE Water).

A recognized expert in the field, Dean has been involved with nearly 100 facilities throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and the Middle East, including eight plants with capacities greater than 1 million gallons per day (MGD). Some of his systems installed in the early 80’s and 90’s are still in operation in the harsh Caribbean environment.

Dean has a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville and is a registered professional engineer in Florida and California.
